Jangala invited to showcase work at Expo 2020

We’re delighted to have been invited to exhibit our work at Expo 2020 in Dubai. Out of over 1000 projects that applied, we’re one of 25 selected for the Global Best Practice Programme, which aims to showcase projects that provide tangible solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.

It will highlight initiatives that can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and can be adapted, replicated, and scaled to achieve global impact.

We were selected under the inclusive and sustainable service delivery category, which aims to recognise reliable service provision in urban, suburban and rural areas, as well as in fluid environments such as informal, nomadic, post-disaster, emergency, and refugee settlements.

The Expo will see 25 million visits and worldwide media attention - we can’t wait to show how internet connectivity can be a low cost and effective part of humanitarian aid delivery and development.
