Jangala Annual Report 2021/22

The last year has held many highlights for Jangala: wider global deployments, expanding our team with new colleagues and trustees, winning Cisco’s Global Problem Solver 2021 Digital Inclusivity Prize and showcasing our work through Expo Dubai’s Global Best Practice Programme.

Read our Annual Report to hear about how, through projects in Nepal, Tanzania, France, Uganda and more, we directly connected over 16,000 people and impacted the lives of 90,000 more. Around the world, 15 new Big Boxes and 160 Get Boxes came online to help people access critical internet where and when it’s needed most.

Thanks to the technology developments we’ve made this year, our partners have access to more stable, transparent Wi-Fi; our newly launched User Interface means they can access real-time signal and network information, and our dual modems are resulting in double the network speeds in some cases.

This year we will complete further improvements to our products and services allowing us to rapidly scale our deployment ability in the years to come.
