Wi-Fi for medical centre assisting refugees near the Bosnia and Herzegovina-Croatia border

Jangala deployed a Big Box system in Velika Kladusa, a small town near the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

Our partner, SOS Team Kladuša run a medical centre for refugees who have just made the perilous crossing from Croatia, as well as a store that distributes free clothes to those in need. Above their shop is a cafe, run by Bosnian veterans, that provides a daily free hot meal to hundreds of refugees. The Jāṅgala Wi-Fi is available to everyone using any of these services.

We’re delighted to offer assistance to these community-run projects. Both are incredible examples of the inventive warmth and kindness shown by so many Bosnian people towards refugees. Many Bosnians, like many people in the Balkans, have direct experience of the trauma of displacement and the horrors of war.
